The winners of the 2021 Grammy Awards have been unveiled, with Taylor Swift, Megan Thee Stallion, Beyoncé and more scoring accolades alongside an Aussie songwriter.

The coveted Album of the Year title was bestowed to Swift’s Folklore, which smashed a bunch of streaming records upon release in mid-2020, while Record of the Year went to Billie Eilish’s Everything I Wanted and Song of the Year was awarded to H.E.R. track I Can’t Breathe.

Nominated for nine awards, Beyoncé’s Best R&B Performance win for Black Parade saw her make history, with the artist now having 28 Grammys to her name, the most by a female artist (the previous record of 27 was held by Alison Krauss).

Although Tame Impala and Flume didn’t pick up awards in their respective categories, Melbourne songwriter Mike Waters can now say he's contributed to a Grammy-winning album.

Waters, who has previously worked with Louis Tomlinson, Demi Lovato and more, co-wrote John Legend’s U Move, I Move, which features on Bigger Love, an album that picked up Best R&B Album at the Grammys.

Megan Thee Stallion, who was The Music’s top artist of 2020, was named Best New Artist and awarded Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for Savage, while Dua Lipa (Best Pop Vocal Album for Future Nostalgia), Harry Styles (Best Pop Solo Performance for Watermelon Sugar), The Strokes (Best Rock Album for The New Abnormal) and Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande (Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Rain On Me) also won big.
