"That’s what Goodgod Super Club’s purpose will be — a seriously incredible dancefloor journey."
Dancefloor lovers mourned the loss of Goodgod Small Club last September when it was announced the quintessential Sydney club was up for sale and rebranding into the Plan B Small Club. Now, those who miss the club's curated line-ups have something to look forward to as Vivid LIVE have announced the bill for this year's Goodgod Super Club.
The four-day event — which spans two whole weekends (Friday 27 and Saturday 28 May and Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June) — celebrates Goodgod as the cultural phenomenon it was.
With a custom nightclub built in the Opera Houses's basement, influential dance music figures will take to the stage to bring Goodgod back to its former glory.
Friday, 27 May will feature Leeds producer Bradley Zero and Simon Caldwell, with London ex-pirate radio host Oneman bringing his blend of garage and grim with Astral People's Mike Who to Vivid LIVE on 28 May. The following weekend, Detroit techno heavyweight Kyle Hall will perform on 3 May with Magda Bytnerowics, followed by New York's Joey LaBeija, Brooklyn rapper Junglepussy and Chanel on 4 May.

Goodgod's Jimmy Sing says, "For decades people have gone to nightclubs to dance their troubles away. But nowadays it feels that clubs are rarely designed with that dancefloor experience and its liberating potential in mind. So that’s what Goodgod Super Club’s purpose will be — a seriously incredible dancefloor journey."
