PixiesHere we are again, another week of lockdowns and closures around the country. But Hey (fortuitous song reference), let's focus on some of the more fun music news from this week, shall we?
Seminal Boston alt-rock outfit Pixies are one of the most influential bands of their era, but it turns out that isn't the only ace up their sleeve. It seems that drummer David Lovering is a keen magician, and has been showing off his skills on the bands Facebook page, uploading videos every Magic Monday to entertain and astound fans in equal measure.
Check out his skills below.
This lovely bit of sorcery comes with some extra good news for Pixies fans, with the announcement this week that their massive fourth studio album Tromp Le Monde is getting a special deluxe reissue, with a limited-edition green coloured vinyl. Released via Remote Control Records, the album is available for pre-order now and is slated for release 24 September.
