End your week on a high note!
As another week inches closer to a close, let's dust off some of the happier stories from the last seven days and dive head first into the Friday good news...
After it was announced last month that legendary Parks And Recreation band Mouse Rat were to release their debut album, fans were quick to notice that Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy was to make an appearance on the release. Having cameoed in the series as fictional musician Scott Tanner, Parks aficionados were desperately hoping for a taste of the infamous Pawnee act Land Ho!
Now, those prayers have been answered with the first taste of brand new music from The Awesome Album. Tweedy goes solo as his Tanner character for the tune Cold Water, with some smooth sax accompaniment from Duke Silver (Ron Swanston/Nick Offerman in the series, though unfortunately it is not the moustachioed man himself playing on the album).
Check out Cold Water now.
In other news (and more of a casual reminder than anything), the world of Aus music and online gaming has never been more perfectly combined than with Montaigne's Twitch stream.

The musician and Eurovision representative for Australia regularly jumps online for fans to watch and interact with her, as the Technicolour singer does everything from create music, design cover art, and play The Sims. She's also the only musician member of Aus comedy twitch collective The Aristocrats, alongside the likes of comedians Jordan Raskopolous, Demi Lardner, and Aunty Donna's Mark Samual Bonanno - who just announced a nationwide tour with his comic compatriots.
