The Aussie label has conspired with SA brewers Pirate Life to create Golden Era Ale
Props to the Golden Era Records crew where they're due — the esteemed Aussie hip-hop collective knows how to build up buzz when they want to, announcing today a series of parties in honour of their new collaborative beer (with Pirate Life Brewing), Golden Era Ale, to keep their fans flush with fun times all this spring/summer.
Although the partnership with Pirate Life — which was only established last year and has swiftly eked out a niche for itself amid the nation's still-burgeoning craft-brew market — was quietly announced in September, the brewers and Golden Era have well and truly lifted the veil on their team-up booze, with the public being able to try it for the first time when the label's spring/summer party series gets under way with its launch event in Adelaide, at the Published Arthouse (11 Cannon Street), on Saturday 7 November, from 1-7pm.
The team are making sure that punters' ears as well as their mouths and bellies are looked after, with DJ sets lined up on the day from label artists K21, Trials, Adfu, Briggs, DJ Debris and Dylan Joel.
Tickets for the first of Golden Era's spring/summer parties go on sale via Ticketek from midday tomorrow, 13 October ($20, includes one free Golden Era Ale). Further details regarding future events in the series will be released soon.
