The celebrated superclub brand will make its first stop Down Under since October 2011 in a couple of months
Premier '90s superclub franchise Godskitchen — previously staged Down Under by Future Entertainment, the folks behind Future Music Festival — will be making a return to Australian shores in just under two months for a pair of events in Sydney and Melbourne, the brand's first such shindigs in more than three years.
Having last graced our shores in Otober 2011 after several successful parties over the preceding decade and ahead of the turn of the millennium, Godskitchen will be hitting Voodoo Sydney on Friday, 1 May, before heading down the coast to take on Melbourne's Festival Hall on Saturday, 2 May.
Both events' line-ups will feature five international artists — still to be announced — and final-round tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster for $94.70 plus fees. The return of Godskitchen promises to be both a trip down memory lane and an eye-opening experience for the south-east coast's diverse array of rave-partial punters.
If you happen to be a graduate of the Godskitchen school of partying, then you know what you're in for — and if you're not, take a look at this fan-shot footage from 2011's Sydney event (keep an eye out for the cheeky selfie being taken in the lower-left portion of the screen at about 1:25, because we can't not see it):
