APRA AMCOS has today unveiled the details for a new global awards ceremony seeking to highlight artistic excellence and commercial success in international markets.
The inaugural Global APRA Music Awards will be presented in Los Angeles, Nashville and London in early 2020 and cover four categories in all three markets.
The categories, revealed today, include Breakthrough Songwriter Of The Year, Overseas Recognition Award, Songwriter Of The Year and Distinguished Services Award. The Songwriter and Distinguished Services categories will be named on the night but the organisation has revealed the nominees for Breakthrough Songwriter and Overseas Recognition today including the likes of Ruel, Mallrat, Flume, Parcels and stacks more.
