Other side of the world? No problem

Out on his own, The Preatures' guitarist/vocalist Gideon Bensen has been doing well for himself with his freshly minted debut solo release, Cold Cold Heart, scoring himself radio play on three UK radio stations.

Benson's first single, Talk Talk, has been picked up by BBC Radio 1 on Phil Taggart's show, along with BBC London, Radio X and Communion's Top 5 Singles Of The Week. Clash Magazine have also showed their support.

Communion's Maz Tappuni said "that chorus keeps pulling you in" on the brooding but raucous track.

With Bensen's Cold Cold Heart released on 12 February, the Sydney artist has been playing shows in Sydney and Melbourne and also performed at Tropfest's mini "half-time show" last weekend.
