Only weeks out from its eighth iteration, Secret Garden Festival has revealed the theme for one of the most enjoyable aspects of the festival — its Friday night party!
Known for its quirky themes and fancy dress fun, this year's festival asks that you dress in your shiniest and kookiest of space cowboy gear and get ready to stick 'em up in the extraterrestrial Wild Wild West.
Secret Garden suggest "heavy metallics and gun holsters, colourful wigs and cowboy hats, vests and chaps, robotic gauntlets and lots of silver body paint and faux cow hide", but don't let them, or us, stop you from harnessing your inner Martian saloon girl.
The two-day boutique festival hits town (about an hour out of Sydney) from Friday, 26 February to Sunday, 28 February but of course, you won't find out the exact location until later in February. A line-up of over 50 bands, 30 actors, dancers and comedians and six stages is expected to be announced pretty soon, too.
