Bill Murray Reacting To The New ‘Ghostbusters’ Teaser Is The Best Thing You’ll See All Day

23 April 2021 | 1:40 pm | Staff Writer

The upcoming ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ film follows the 2016 movie by Paul Feig.

Ghostbusters fans across the globe were delighted when a trailer for the upcoming new film was released in early April, and it seems legendary actor Bill Murray is among those who loved the Mini-Pufts reveal.

In the recent trailer, star Paul Rudd comes face-to-face with the mischievous marshmallows and Ghostbusters: Afterlife director Ivan Reitman (who also directed the original films) shared Murray’s reaction to seeing the clip for the first time.

“That’s funny, I had never seen any of that. That’s got the feel, doesn’t it?” Murray said in response.

Starring Carrie Coon, McKenna Grace and Finn Wolfhard alongside Rudd, Ghostbusters: Afterlife is scheduled to be released in Australian cinemas on December 2.

BILL MURRAY DOWN UNDER

Murray toured Australia back in 2018 alongside classical cellist Jan Vogler, violinist Mira Wang and pianist Vanessa Perez.

At the time, Murray told The Music: “We come from very different worlds; we come from different continents. But we have so much in common in the centre.

“There’s like a jelly doughnut centre to each of us. Even though we look like barnacles on the outside, we have jelly doughnut centres.

“When you have a jelly doughnut centre, it kind of shakes when things go well. When life goes well, and music plays, the jelly kind of vibrates a little bit. It's like some sort of an alien being inside, that shakes.

“We each have it - Vanessa has it, Mira has it, too. We're just a bunch of doughnuts that are coming to your country and we're very excited. We're really excited. It's a really stuffed pastry, coming your way.”
