Get Ready To See Glenn Danzig On Portlandia

If you're a fan of Portlandia, boy, are you in for a (weird) treat. 

Creators and stars of the sketch comedy show, Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein have revealed that the show will host none other than punk/metal legend Glenn Danzig on the show — why? We have no idea.

It's not yet clear what role the 60-year-old ex-Misfits rocker will play on the show, but the Instagram posted by Brownstein indicated it involves copious amounts of white face paint and being a "summer goth".

The episode is due to appear on the show's sixth season.
