Gerard Way shares old cover

Scene hero Gerard Way has shared an old cover he recorded of The Carpenters' track 'Superstar'.

The rare audio file was released unto the world by Way himself, who shared his desire to upload it via his Twitter.

He noted that it was from the day he sang 'Cancer' for My Chemical Romance's 'The Black Parade' album, as a warm up. He also revealed that at the time, My Chemical Romance "toyed around with putting a cover song on the album, because that would have been kind of next level".
