George Thorogood & The Destroyers have announced two Australian headline dates to accompany their appearance at Bluesfest and support slot for ZZ Top across the country.

This April, the Bad To The Bone rockers will bring their Baddest Show On Earth tour dates to Melbourne’s Forum on Monday, 21 April, and Hobart’s Odeon Theatre on Wednesday, 23 April.

An artist and Live Nation pre-sale will open on Monday, 17 February, at 12 pm local time, ahead of the general sale opening on Tuesday, 18 February, at 1 pm local time. You can find tickets via the Live Nation website.

The band will join ZZ Top on his Elevation tour across Australia and New Zealand this April and May, performing in Adelaide (AEC Arena), Perth (Langley Park), Melbourne (Margaret Court Arena), Sydney (ICC Sydney Theatre), Auckland (Spark Arena), and Wellington (TSB Arena). They’ll also perform at Bluesfest Byron Bay on Friday, 18 April, and as part of this year’s Red Hot Summer Tour.

With his band, the Destroyers, Thorogood has released over 20 albums and sold over 15 million records worldwide. Last year, the band celebrated 50 years of performing.

Thorogood continues to tour with his longtime band: Jeff Simon (drums, percussion), Bill Blough (bass guitar), Jim Suhler (rhythm guitar) and Buddy Leach (saxophone), where they perform signature hits, including Get A Haircut, I Drink Alone, Move It On Over, and, of course, the baddest of them all: Bad To The Bone.
