George MichaelTo coincide with the release of new holiday film inspired by the music of George Michael, Last Christmas, a previously unreleased song from the late music icon has dropped this week.
Recorded during one of Michael's final studio sessions before his passing in 2016 and his first original material since 2012, This Is How (We Want You To Get High) is also featured in the end credits of Last Christmas.
"I just think it's one of the greatest songs," director Paul Feig told The Music during a promo trip in Sydney this week.
"If you go to see the movie, stay through the end credits and listen to this amazing new song."

Written by UK acting legend Emma Thompson, Last Christmas (based on the iconic 1984 Wham! song) features a soundtrack made up entirely of Michael's music which Feig says was initially never intended.
"That wasn't really in the script," he said.
"The name of the song inspired [Last Christmas] and [Thompson] put in a few markers, like, 'Well, let's play some George here', but nobody kinda intended that.
"The movie really started to demand it. I think George's DNA is just through that storyline and I started doing a deep dive into his back catalogue and finding songs I had never heard before. Like, Heal The Pain - this is basically the song of the movie!"
Last Christmas hits cinemas across Australia today.
