Gathering Of The Juggalos Festival Coming To Australia

Woop woop

More Insane Clown Posse Insane Clown Posse

Arguably the world’s most infamous music festival, Insane Clown Posse’s seen-to-be-believed Gathering Of The Juggalos festival may be coming to Australia in 2015.

Known for their almost cult-like following (or gang-like if you ask the FBI), the Gathering Of The Juggalos is an annual pilgrimage for the ‘juggalos’ sub-culture that almost looks lawless to the outside observer.

As well as hip hop and metal sets, wrestling and general loose camping, the Gathering Of The Juggalos festival also hosts seminars. As FasterLouder point out, at this year’s speech Insane Clown Posse announced plans for an Australian edition of their event.

Around the 12.30 minute mark in the video below Violent J declares, “Next year Psychopathic Records will be putting on a mini-Gathering of sorts in the country of Australia… We will be putting on a fucking Gathering, so if you want to come and party with us with Australian Juggalos start fucking saving up in your fucking piggy banks for that plane ticket. The tickets for the Gathering itself in Australia will be nice and cheap, because we love you. But for the lane ticket you’re on your own.”

Insane Clown Posse were in the country late last year for a run of shows, with member Shaggy 2 Dope telling theMusic.com.au at the time, “A lot of juggalos don't have nowhere else to turn, so they rely on other juggalos.

“A juggalo from the North Pole could be marinating in Israel or something, and a juggalo from the South Pole could be marinating in Israel; somehow they bump into each other and they're going to be down. So even if you don't know each other you're the same person – just like family. You might not be related but you're from the same mould, the same mindset.”
