British post-punk quartet Gang Of Four have announced details for their new album.
Their first record in 16 years is titled 'Content' and is due out January 25, 2011 through Yep Roc Records on CD and vinyl. There are also plans to release a package called the 'Ultimate Content Can' which contains the album on CD, a book version of an art piece Jon and Andy have done on ceramic tiles depicting the last 40 years of world history, a book of lyrics, a book of Rotoscoped photographs of the band's emotions, phials of band members' blood and a scratch and sniff booklet which reflects the key areas of human activity.
The band used Pledge Music to raise funds for recording of the album and for charities such as Amnesty International and Plan International.
