The cult-favourite US synth-pop trio have announce three headline dates to go along with their December festival commitments.
Revered US synth-pop trio Future Islands have announced a run of headline dates to complement their impending festival hat-trick this December.
Along with their appearances at Perth's Fidelity Festival, the Fairgrounds Festival in Berry and Meredith Music Festival, the band will also hit stages for standalone shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne during their whirlwind visit.
Future Islands will touch down in the wake of their well-received fifth studio album The Far Field, having built themselves a reputation as firm live favourites for their energetic, inimitable live shows by all who have seen them play in the flesh.
There are truly few live bands as memorable as the Baltimore outfit (apropos nothing, Les Savy Fav come to mind as being of a similarly glorious performative stripe, if that helps your reference point at all), and Aussie fans are certain to be in for a massive treat when Future Islands return to our shores for their latest sojourn Down Under in just a few months.
