Future Islands, Jungle To Play Laneway After Parties

The details have arrived for the official St Jerome's Laneway Festival after parties and they're pretty sweet, with Future Islands leading the post-show entertainment.

The Baltimore trio, who broke out in a big way thanks to their 2014 single Seasons (Waiting On You), will perform at the Sydney and Melbourne after parties, while Jung Le DJ — the DJ set from London's acclaimed Jungle — will appear at all three after parties, including Brisbane.

Other names to pop up at the gigs are Mac DeMarco, Violent Soho, Perfect Pussy, Eagulls and Dune Rats, with most acts playing DJ sets. All the details are as follows:

Brisbane — The Brightside, 31 Jan:

Melbourne — The Hi-Fi, 7 Feb:

Future Islands, Jung Le DJ (DJ Set), Mac De Marco Vs King Gizzard (DJ Set), Milk! Records feat. Courtney Barnett, Fraser A. Gorman, Jen Cloher (DJ Set)

And in other Laneway news announced today, the Mistletone stage has been confirmed for each of the five festivals, with Future Islands, St Vincent, Connon Mockasin and more will perform on the stage, which is a sweet nod to the iconic promoter and record label.
