It’s a chance for “super fucking busy” artists to meet up
On next year's Future Music Festival bill, DJ Fresh is planning to use the Australian jaunt as a chance to party with artists that the English DJ just won't have time to otherwise.
Speaking to Inpress' Kate Kingsmill in a soon-to-be-published interview, Fresh – real name Daniel Stein – said that he was particularly looking forward to touring alongside acts like The Stone Roses, Zane Lowe and Dizzee Rascal.
“A lot of people that are successful in music are super, super fucking busy, including myself, so you don't really get a lot of chance to hang out with people in general, unless you're working with them,” he admitted.
“Everybody wants to make sure they're in a great state of mind for the show and be well rested but then when we've got nights off and stuff, we'll go out and get really drunk and be dancing at an after party. I'm kind of like work hard and play hard so I take what I do really, really seriously but I also, at the end of the day… make the most of it when I can. Especially in Australia.”

Speaking to theMusic.com.au, fellow Future act Rudimental's Piers Agget continued that thread, saying “Uplifting good vibes is what we're about. And I've heard you guys like to party as well.”
Having just completed a DJ showcase tour of Australia he said that the live show, which they're honing and developing now won't change too much between now at next March.
“The core sound of Rudimental is there,” he said. “Obviously our new single and our album will be out by then, but the core sound is not going to change much. We're into out soulful melodies and we're into out beats and bass, so you can just expect lots of subs in your gut, as well as a bit of trumpet on the top.”
Next year's Future Music Festival will feature The Stone Roses, The Prodigy and Dizzee Rascal amongst others. Tickets on sale now.
