French Singer Dies On Stage During Concert

After being electrocuted.

French musician Barbara Weldens has reportedly died on stage during a concert after she was electrocuted.

As BBC reports, the buregoning singer was performing at a church in Goudron, in the Lot region in the south-west of France, when she collapsed.

Weldens reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest and could not be revived.

Storms were reported in the area at the time of the performance, which took place at a local festival this past Wednesday.

Authorities are currently investigating the equipment used on stage to determine what caused the electric fault.

The 35-year-old, who was scheduled to perform additional shows throughout France and Belgium, had only released her debut album this year.
