The eclectic ensemble will perform four shows around the country
Ten-year-strong French electro-pop outfit Yelle have announced that they will be returning to Australia for a run of four shows around the country this March.
Kicking off on the left shore at The Capitol, in Perth, on Wednesday, 25 March, the band will make their way across the great southern land to hit Sydney's Metro Theatre, the Woolly Mammoth, in Brisbane, and The Corner, in Melbourne, before the month's out.
Yelle — so-named for their mononymous namesake-cum-frontwoman, nee Julie Budet — will be touring in support of their recently released full-length Completement Fou, their third such effort, which landed in eager hands to reach eager ears a full seven years after warmly received debut LP Pop Up. If you're unfamiliar with the sorts of ebullient entertainment regularly offered up from the folks in Yelle, enjoy but a sample with the clip below for their newest album's title track.
If that seems like it'd be up your alley in a live setting — or if you know it to be, for the veterans among you — tickets for all shows are on sale now via Live Nation.
