The Jack Daniels sponsored JD set tour is about to kick off. The tour features a range up and coming bands voted by the public on the JD set website. These bands then get the chance to play a few shows with Australian rock gods You Am I infront of huge crowds along with receiving a swag of other prizes.
Round one of The JD Set featuring You Am I, The Glass Ceiling and The Shiny Brights will kick off in Brisbane on May 22nd. For You Am I, The JD Set is somewhat different but they loved the concept.
"We discussed getting involved and decided to do it because if we didn't, someone else would anyway, and it's great to see the corporate sector being involved in the music scene in a positive way,” Rusty Hopkinson said. “We liked all the bands that went up for voting and hope that this little road show will be a great introduction to some cool new groups. We're just along for the ride, doing what we love to do and hoping to provide a positive influence to the supports."
