Melbourne Musicians have joined forces to create a free mini music festival featuring 30 bands and soloists, in an initiative to reach new audiences and create their own music scene. It is called House Party on Wheels.
The launch event at The Brunswick Hotel, March 9th from midday to midnight features 30 of Melbourne's best unsigned bands as they bring their business idea to the public.
The idea is the company 'House Party on Wheels' sets up a party in people's houses, provides the alcohol, food and clean up. The best part is 5-15 bands play in your living room for a small fee. The highest quality bands are invited and all you have to do is bring the people.
The event launch is free entry with $4 schooners from 12-5pm.
