Frank Iero's Brother-In-Law & Manager In Serious Condition After Road Accident

We're wishing them well and hope they're okay

More Frank Iero Frank Iero

Following yesterday's horrendous bus crash in Sydney involving US musician Frank Iero and his touring party, speculation has begun to grow that the two men seriously injured in the accident are Iero's brother-in-law and bandmate Evan Nestor and manager Paul Clegg

As a statement from police notes today, "As a result of the crash two men, aged 35 and 42, who were standing at the rear of the van suffered serious leg injuries.

"One of the men was airlifted to St Vincent’s Hospital; the other was taken by road."

While Nestor is a member of Iero's touring band, Clegg is a well-known figure in the music industry and also manages US hardcore act The Bronx and Mariachi El Bronx.

He has previously tour managed for the likes of The Hives and been involved in tours with Metallica and Coldplay, to name a few.

The identity of the two men injured in the accident has not yet officially been confirmed, however the Daily Telegraph reported yesterday that Iero's "manager and a crew member were hit".

A number of tweets from fans and friends have sent messages of support to Nestor and Clegg since the accident occurred.
