More Buckcherry More Buckcherry

American hard rock stalwarts Buckcherry and Fozzy have announced a joint tour of the country next year - hitting up Perth,  Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne throughout February 2022.

The two groups have seen huge success throughout their years in the US heavy scene, charting consistently throughout their albums, and between them working with the likes of Metallica, Kiss, Iron Maiden, Myles Kennedy, Zakk Wylde and tons more.

Buckcherry lead singer Josh Todd said that he is ecstatic to be bringing the band Down Under, and that the band are just happy they've made it this far at all.

"Buckcherry is unique, complex, simple, passionate, explosive, original, and always a good time," he stated.

"BC has been my love, my pain, my passion and I'm so proud of what we have accomplished. I never knew when I started this that dedicating myself to music would be taking on so much responsibility."

Todd continues, "For a guy who never thought he was going to live past 30, this has been an incredible journey. Our ninth record Hellbound marks 22 years since our debut self-titled release and what an amazing roller coaster we have been on.

"From hit songs to platinum and gold records and millions of fans worldwide - all during a time period when traditional sounding hard rock bands didn't exist - except for Buckcherry. We beat the odds and built our reputation on the live shows, and our 'one of a kind' approach to every opportunity."

The tour will kick off at Perth's Amplifier on Monday 21 February 2022 (Fozzy not appearing at this show) and then head to Adelaide's The Gov, Brisbane's The Triffid, Sydney's Max Watts and then wrap up at Melbourne's Max Watts on Saturday 26 February.

Tickets for the tour are on sale from tomorrow, Friday 30 July. For all the info, jump on over to theGuide.
