Foy Vance & The Paper Kites Plot 2027 Australian Co-Headline Tour

Foy Vance returns to Australia for the first time since 2023, and The Paper Kits come home following 2024 shows.

Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Foy Vance and renowned Australian act The Paper Kites are heading to our shores in early 2027, today announcing a co-headline run.

Taking over Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Saturday, 30 January, the tour continues at Melbourne’s Forum on Tuesday, 2 February, and concludes with performances at next year’s Perth Festival on Sunday, 7 February. A Sydney show will soon be added to the itinerary.

Pre-sale tickets will be available from Monday, 31 August, at 12 pm local time, followed by the general sale on Tuesday, 1 September, at 1 pm local time. You can find more ticketing information on the Frontier Touring website.

Foy Vance has announced Australian dates as part of his 2026-2027 World Tour: Celebrating ‘The Wake’ And The Songs of ‘If’.

He last visited Australia in 2023, when he commemorated the tenth anniversary of his iconic album, Joy of Nothing. Meanwhile, The Paper Kites come home after their last incredible run of shows on home soil in 2024.

Foy Vance recently announced his upcoming album, IF, will be released in three parts – starting with the five-track EP, IF: WE, in October. The full album is scheduled for release on 30 April 2027.

IF will be divided into three EPs: IF: WE, IF: YOU and IF: I. Explaining the project, Vance said, “From a young age I was told that if you want to live your life right and decent, ‘If’ will show you how. It’s tied to everything I was gleaning from writing these songs over the last 27 years, and in a way it’s like the arc of life itself.”

He continued, “You’re born into the ‘we’ of a family, then you find your ‘you’—the person you move through life with. And eventually, if you’re lucky or wise enough, you realise everything begins and ends with ‘I.’”

The Paper Kites released their seventh album, If You Go There, I Hope You Find It, in January. The record debuted at #13 on the ARIA Charts, marking their third top 20 album.
