Irish singer songwriter Damien Dempsey joins the team.
The new ABC owned record label FOUR | FOUR continues to grow and grow, announcing the signing of their first international act: Irish folk artist Damien Dempsey.
Dempsey joins the roster to release his sixth studio album Almighty Love, featuring the guest sounds of Sinead O'Connor, Justin Adams and London-based poet Kate Tempest to name a few.
His folk tunes gained him many awards in Ireland, charitable collaborations, including with Swell Season and Once-front man Glen Hansard, and the opportunity to record the record with London-based John Reynolds, who has worked with U2 and Sinead herself.
Dempsey is no stranger to Australian shores, headlining the Sydney Opera House as a member of Brian Eno's 2009 Luminous Festival, and is believed to have written parts of Almighty Love while holidaying Down Under and in Thailand.
