Former Van Halen Bassist Shuts Down Classic Line-up Reunion Rumours

Damn.

Contrary to recent rumours, it appears that Van Halen’s classic line-up isn’t preparing for a huge stadium tour in 2019.

As iHeartRadio reports, bassist Michael Anthony says he hasn’t spoken to his former bandmates since he last performed with the band in 2014, besides bumping into Alex Van Halen a few years ago and exchanging small talk.

Speculation around the band’s classic line-up reuniting for their first shows together since September 1984 hit boiling point earlier this month when David Lee Roth teased something big is in the works during an interview with Vulture.

But now it seems we may have to wait a little longer for David Lee Roth, Michael Anthony, Eddie Van Halen and Alex Van Halen to join forces again, if at all.
