Former Onelove Manager To Launch New Dance Label

Matt Nugent is stepping out.

With over ten years in the industry and having taken on roles such as A&R Manager at ONELOVE, dance music consultant and Product Manager at Sony Music Entertainment Australia and Marketing Manager at Central Station RecordsMatt Nugent is set to launch a brand new dance label. 

Based in Sydney with a heavy focus on house music, Nugent's Double-Up Records will work to sign and develop Australian talent, as well as licensing outstanding international music for release in Australia & New Zealand. 

The label is already hard at work with new releases from acts such as Harry Romero, Illyus & Barrientos and Croatia Squad set to drop in the near future. 

As well as working on the industry side of the dance scene, Nugent is also known as one half of DJ duo Avon Stringer and has held residences in some of Australia's biggest nightclubs.
