Former Gomez Member Ben Ottewell Announces Australian Tour

Former singer and guitarist of English indie rock band Gomez, Ben Ottewell is returning for his third solo tour of Australia in June.

The tour will follow the release of his third solo album on 25 May. Titled A Man Apart, the follow-up to Shapes & Shadows and Rattlebag was co-written by Sam Genders (former Tunng member) and recorded and produced in Los Angeles and Sheffield.  

Ottewell, who has played Bluesfest and Splendour In The Grass with Gomez in previous years, will once again be joined by his friend, US artist Buddy on tour.

He’ll begin his Australia run in Darwin then head to Fremantle, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart, Sydney and Brisbane before finishing up at Bello Winter Festival in Bellingen, joining other headliners Salmonella Dub, Husky, Joe Pug, Tinpan Orange and Bec Sandridge.
