Former ACT Nightclub Security Head Extradited Back To Aus After Overseas Drug Bust Arrest

The men were arrested last month.

A 34-year-old who ran security at a now-closed Canberra nightclub is one of two men being extradited back to Australia after they were arrested by Serbian police for allegedly being connected to a $500 million cocaine smuggling ring.

According to SBS, Tristan Waters, who ran the Minque nightclub, and Salesyard director and steel importer, Rohan Arnold, will head back to Australia following the arrest in a Belgrade hotel last month.

The men are allegedly linked to a syndicate attempting to transport 1.28 tonnes of cocaine (the second largest seizure in Australian history) into Sydney via China last year.

A third Australian man remains in Serbia as his case is still pending.
