Footstomp Music Take Control Of Bleach Festival

They will take care of Music Programming and Promotions for 2013

Footstomp Music will be taking care of music Programming and Promotions for the Gold Coast's Bleach Festival for 2013, it was announced today. 

Supported by Gold Coast City Council and Events Queensland, Bleach runs for ten days and involves music performances, art installations, outdoor films, street parties and other events. Next year's event will run from 22 February to 3 March and lead into the Quicksilver and Roxy Pro surfing event.

Footstomp Music's Director Graham Ashton said today, "A life of wanderlust has led me to settle in the Tally Valley.  I feel incredibly connected to the Southern Gold Coast and my two greatest passions are music and surfing.

"The opportunity to be part of the Bleach* team is a dream come true and I plan to do everything in my power to help grow this into a truly iconic event well into the future."

This year will be Ashton's third year as Executive Programmer for BIGSOUND, while he has also worked with a number of world renowned acts like Robbie Williams, Powderfinger and Mumford & Sons.

Festival Director Louise Bezzina said the festival "is committed to growing the music program and presenting a line-up of the best local and national contemporary music acts, with the view in the future to attract internationals."
