Foo Fighters: "We're not breaking up"

With the proliferation of online news these days, a piece of humble speculation soon turns into excessive Chinese whispers. This week's music news centred around the future of popular rock stalwarts Foo Fighters.

Talks of a hiatus soon turned into discussions about a break-up, with Dave Grohl's solo performance at the recent Oscars speculated as a lead-in to a solo career. Consequently, the band teased an "official band announcement" via their socials.

Well, that announcement has come. In typically entertaining form, Foo Fighters have responded to reports of their demise in a new video, which, while very tongue-in-cheek, declares, "For the millionth time, we're not breaking up, and nobody's going fucking solo."
