The best thing you’ll watch all day.
If you were hoping to see one of the nicest guys in rock get possessed and go on a killing spree today, then look no further than the trailer for Foo Fighters’ upcoming horror-comedy Studio 666.
Today’s teaser features the band moving into a house to write a record when Dave Grohl gets possessed and then goes after his bandmates.
And it actually looks pretty damn good:
Slated to hit cinemas in the US on February 25, the film’s international release date is expected to be announced soon.
Based on a story by Grohl and featuring all six members of the band, the film will centre around the group recording in a haunted studio, and the terrors that lie within bubbling up to the surface.

"In Studio 666, the legendary rock band Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll history to record their much anticipated 10th album," a synopsis on the official website reads.
"Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band."
The Foos are no strangers to a bit of dress up and make-believe. From their jetsetting Learn To Fly vid to rolling forward the years for Run and all the way to trolling the Westboro Baptist Church as a bunch of hard-loving truckers, the boys definitely know how to have a laugh.
The film is also set to star comedy stars Whitney Cummings, Will Forte and more.
