Ready for a bit of Ho Hey?

More The Lumineers More The Lumineers

Denver folk revivalists The Lumineers are set to tour Australia in March 2013 on the back of their self-titled debut and its smash single Ho Hey.

Part of the same vein that afforded The Avett Brothers a major label career and notoriety outside of America and propelled Mumford & Son from the UK to become one of the world's favourite bands, Colorado-based The Lumineers mix old-world stories with contemporary melodies infused with cello and mandolin. And although they've figuratively exploded in the last two year, they've been writing songs together for seven years now and are far from a flash-in-the-pan.

Dates are as follows:

Wednesday 27 March – Metro Theatre, Sydney
Friday 29 March – The Corner Hotel, Melbourne
Saturday 30 March – The Hi-Fi, Brisbane
