Foals, Disclosure Lead Southbound 2016 Line-Up

The festival's biggest bill to date

We were recently delivered news that Southbound had extended its run by an extra day, and now the 2016 line-up is here, featuring international superstars Foals and Disclosure, local legends Birds Of Tokyo, Courtney Barnett and a whole bunch more.

After allowing punters to camp next to their car this year – which proved a massive success – the festival has added an additional day to the music and camping festival. Fright Night Fever will see festival-goers dance the night away in fancy dress, getting into the swing of things before the main event on Saturday and Sunday.

We spoke to promoter Dave Chitty in the lead up to the announcement, and he wasn't wrong about being “confident” that punters would be happy with next year’s bill.

Southbound will be held from Friday, 8 January to Sunday, 10 January at Sir Stewart Bovell Park in Busselton, and here’s who joins the party:

Alpine, Birds Of Tokyo, Bloc Party, Børns, Courtney Barnett, Disclosure, Django Django, Foals, Gang Of Youths, Gary Clark Jr., Halsey, Hiatus Kaiyote, Hilltop Hoods, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Little May, The Maccabees, Mac Demarco, Meg Mac, Oh Wonder, Paul Kelly's Merri Soul Sessions feat. Clairy Browne, Dan Sultan, Kira Piru, Vika and Linda Bull, Rufus, Seth Sentry, Toro Y Moi, Weird Al Yankovic, Young Fathers and more to be announced.
