More Flume More Flume

Flume has dropped a new track in support of Keep Sydney Open's new plaque initiative, as they gear up to the 9 October rally.

The song, titled Heater, soundtracks a mini-doco created by the anti-lockout group as they document installing dozens of plaques outside shut down venues in Darlinghurst, Kings Cross and more this week, with Jim Finn and Dan McNamee of Art Vs Science and David Leupepe of Gang Of Youths speaking out about getting their start in these Sydney venues.

"Where are we gonna play? Where are we gonna hang out? Where are we gonna make money? Where are we gonna start from that lower echelon?" says Leupepe. "Australia's losing all their talent."

Flume is currently on the road in the States playing huge shows, though he got his start at Sydney CBD's Goodgod Small Club, where he opened for Chet Faker (now Nick Murphy).
