More Florence & The Machine Florence & The Machine

Florence + The Machine have announced arena shows in Australia next March as a part of their Dance Fever Tour.

The international group will return to Australia for the first time in four years, with shows at Perth's RAC Arena on the 4th of March; Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on the 8th of March; Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on the 13th of March; and Brisbane's Entertainment Centre on the 17th of March.

Florence + The Machine will be touring in support of their fifth studio record, Dance Fever, which is set to be released on the 13th of May. The record is produced by Florence Welch, Jack Antonoff and Dave Bayley and features already adored singles My Love, King, Heaven Is Here and Free.

The record, which was created predominantly in London, was recorded throughout the pandemic in anticipation of the world's reopening. It conjures the energy that we all missed during lockdowns including clubs, dancing at festivals and the overarching feeling of togetherness and community, while anticipating the hope of reunions to come.

Dance Fever follows a myriad of incredible original music from the act that crosses all generations and demographics, from the band's debut album Lungs (2009) to their most recent How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (2015).

Also joining them on tour is American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist King Princess, who will open at each of the shows. Her 2019 record, Cheap Queen, solidified her as one of the world's best young songwriters.
