Flickerfest Docos Now Qualify For Academy Awards

Sydney-based show film festival and awards Flickerfest have confirmed that its Short Documentary category has now been officially Academy Accredited, with winners now qualifying for Academy Award consideration.

The documentary category joins existing accredited categories of Flickerfest, including Best International Short Film, Best Short Animation and Best Australian Short.

After kicking off on Friday, the festival will continue screenings until Sunday 19 January. Tickets are available here.
