Tickets available by ballot
Indie folk extraordinaires Fleet Foxes have been named as Vivid LIVE's first musical act this year, a part of what is sure to be another Vivid line-up bursting at the seams with talent.
The Seattle act will be playing a slew of new material from their upcoming third album at four exclusive shows for the renowned Sydney festival of light, music and ideas.
Tickets will be allocated by ballot, similar to recent Sydney Opera House shows by Morrissey and Anohni, with punters able to apply for tickets from here.
Fleet Foxes vocalist, Robin Pecknold, says, "We are unbelievably excited to perform songs from our new album, and to revisit songs from across our catalogue, at the Sydney Opera House in May.

"In this time, when all action towards unity is vital, our means of engendering union is through music, collective communal performance, on any stage that will have us, and there is no better stage in the world than the Opera House. We really hope to see you there."
Vivid LIVE curator Ben Marshall also adds, "It’s a big moment for us to welcome back Fleet Foxes to the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall stage for Vivid LIVE. Having ended their Helplessness Blues tour here five years ago across three unforgettable sold-out nights, they’ve chosen to premiere their new & fiercely anticipated third album on the very same stage."
