The Brisbane melodic hardcore band made the news late last night, along with their last few shows, via social media with the following post:
"First Sight is calling it a day.
We've been having an absolute ball over the past two years in this band, but after much thought and consideration, it's time to end this chapter of our lives. We honestly and genuinely appreciate every last person who has given us the time of day, listened to our music, come to a show or just generally been a legend to us. We'd like to thank Doug Clarke from Doug Clarke Productions, Alan Douches from West West Side Music, Adrian Eyre from Splat Studio, Lloyd Colligan, Sam Gorringe, James Bolton, Matt Scott and anyone we missed (sorry!) for all the contributions you've made to this band.
We have three more shows left until we are officially done
October 31 @ The Brightside (Demolition Lovers/My Chemical Romance cover set)
December 5 @ The Brightside w/ What We're Worth
December 20 @ The Lab (lineup TBA)

Again, thank you so much for supporting us for the last two years, you guys have made it all worth it and we couldn't be happier with what we achieved
-Josh, Nic, Nate, Sean and Sam"
First Sight released three singles as well as their debut EP, 'The Hardest Year' earlier this year, in their time together. Check out all of the band's music right here, and their music video for 'Trapped' below.
