Wil Anderson Named As Host For First Ever Official Sherlock Event In Australia

Award-winning stand-up comedian and broadcaster Wil Anderson will host the exclusive Sherlock event, From Script to Screen, in Melbourne on Monday 23 November. 

It's the first ever Sherlock event to hit Australia. Anderson will host a behind-the-scenes look into the BBC drama, with special guests including the series co-creators and executive producers Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, who also stars as Mycroft Holmes.

Anderson performs more than 200 stand-up shows in a year across the globe, as well as hosting and producing the ABC's award winning Gruen series. 

The Melbourne event comes ahead of the eagerly anticipated Sherlock: The Abominable Bride, one-off episode set in Victorian London in 1895. The episode will premiere exclusively on Stan in Australia on 2 Jan, and will be followed by a limited run of special screenings at selected cinemas across the country.
