Poison City is excited to announce the forthcoming release of FIRES OF WACO's debut full-length 'Old Ghosts Never Sleep'. Having released their debut EP 'In The Wake Of...' on Arrest Records in June, Brisbane's FIRES OF WACO have spent the past year forging their own identity, becoming one of the most active and endeared bands among their local scene. Originally forming from the ashes of well respected bands The Gifthorse, Values Here and Just Say Go!, FIRES OF WACO's sound has been a constant progression with all members focused on expanding their diverse influences. From the energy and grit of At The Drive-In, to the discordant melody of As Friends Rust through to the immense and experimental nature of Brand New, FIRES OF WACO's debut promises to be one of the most refreshing and confronting records your likely to hear in 2011.
