Field Day Tease Huge International Rapper As 2023 Lineup Looms

Field Day has announced that it will be returning this year in Sydney's Domain on New Years day, with a new teaser clip.

The video showcases the formation of a cartoon of two people dancing in the grass.

In the background, Denzel Curry's Walkin' plays, a potential hint at one of the acts on the line up.

Last year, Field Day featured an all star cast of local acts which included Golden Features, Hayden James, Hot Dub Time Machine, Peking Duk, Masked Wolf, Mallrat and more.

Denzel Curry has already had a huge 2022, releasing his critically acclaimed, magnum opus record Melt My Eyez See Your Future.

Off the back of it, he performed a fan favourite slot as a part of NPR's Tiny Desk Concert which showcased his illustrious discography so far.

The South Florida rapper has taken this ethos to a whole new level, reconfiguring a range of his tracks throughout his illustrious discography with a his nine-piece Cold-Blooded Soul Band for a six track set. 

Its tracklist included Melt Session #1, Walkin (with Curry's long time collaborator DJ Poshtronaut lending a hand on vocals) and Troubles. 

Curry continues on to perform DIET_ from his 2020 collaborative EP UNLOCKED with Kenny Beats, fan favourite CLOUT COBAIN | CLOUT CO13A1N from 2018's TA13OO before closing with lead single from his 2019 album ZULU, RICKY.
