The Mustang GT has been revamped for 2017
One of the most renowned music instrument companies in the biz, Fender have pulled out all stops to introduce a brand new Mustang GT Amplifier series with WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities and the ability to function in conjunction with a free mobile app.
The app, called Fender Tone, is the company's second free mobile app and will give musicians the ability to harness a range of versatile guitar tones, including singer/songwriter genres, blues rock and punk.
The app will feature thousands of presets created by Fender sound engineers and musicians, with the potential to add your own effects, create new presets, create setlists and more.
Fender have worked with the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Californian pop punks Young The Giant and singer Grimes on the guitar tones, as well as presets curated by Red Hot Chili Peppers' Josh Adam Klinghoffer, Gary Clark Jr and Anthrax's Scott Ian.

On the amp front, the Mustang GT series will feature three new models — Mustang GT 40, Mustang GT 100 and Mustang GT 200.
Jim Ninesling, Senior VP of Consumer Electronics at Fender, says "We’re proud to introduce our latest innovations to one of the best-selling series in Fender history.
"Our first dual launch alongside Fender Digital is an exciting moment, which will not only provide players with endless digital amplifier features, but also give users the option to use the Fender Tone app for preset and setlist organisation."
