Fender Announces New Koa Strat As Part Of Rarities Series

Fender Music Australia have today announced the launch of the latest in their Rarities Series, the Koa Flame Ash Top Strat. 

The classic shape features a two-piece ash body with a flame koa top and a one-piece, quartersawn European maple neck, as well as 59 gold-foil single-coil pickups. 

Additional features include a vintage-style six-point tremolo, staggered tuners, black pearloid dot inlays, treble-bleed circuit and a limited edition neck plate, and is priced at $2,499.99.

Fender will be releasing a Chambered Flame Top Telecaster in July and an American Original ‘60s Quilt Top Telecaster in August as part of the series, with further releases due throughout the year.
