American indie-rock star Faye Webster has announced her return to Australia for this July.
Last Down Under for Laneway Festival and a string of headline dates last year, the Lifetime singer will return this July to play in theatres in two cities.
Webster will bring her Underdressed At The Symphony Tour—named after her most recent album—to Australia this July, performing at Melbourne’s Forum on Saturday, 12 July, and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Tuesday, 15 July.
Frontier Members can access pre-sale tickets on Monday, 31 March, at 10 am AEDT. The general sale begins on Wednesday, 2 April, at 10 am AEDT. You can purchase tickets via the Frontier Touring website.
UPDATE 1 APRIL 2025: Due to extraordinary demand following yesterday’s pre-sale, additional shows have been added to Webster’s upcoming tour. She will now perform a second and final show at Melbourne’s Forum on Sunday, 13 July, and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Wednesday, 16 July. Tickets to the new shows will be available tomorrow.
Webster is touring in support of her latest album, Underdressed At The Symphony, released last March. Her fifth album, the release finds Webster experimenting with indie rock, country, and R&B, while the songs contain a blend of “catharsis and humour.”

Reviewing the album for Uncut Magazine, Stephen Deusner described Webster’s style as being a “minimalist songwriter who uses as few words as possible to conjure emotions too messy or too contradictory or simply too painful to state outright.”
Spin Magazine’s Evan Haga added that the album’s lyrics “push breakup-record pain against proclamations of a woman’s wants and needs, while mixing in funny, specific details of contemporary life.”
At just 16 years old, Webster released her debut album, Run And Tell, in 2013. While country music inspired her worldview, so did more alternative artists. She went to school with Lil Yachty, and when she signed with Awful Records, she became labelmates with Father, Playboi Carti and Ethereal.
Since 2017, Webster has been signed to Secretly Canadian and released her last four albums on the label.
