Fatboy SlimWe already know that iconic electronic artist Fatboy Slim is headed Down Under early next year to grace Sydney's Electric Gardens festival, but thankfully the event team and the veteran performer seem to have an idea of how physically large this country is, announcing today that he'll be making a stop off on the west coast this January too for a headline sideshow.
In news that should please the left half of the country, Fatboy Slim will be stepping out for one night only at the start of the Australia Day long weekend, on Friday 22 January 2016, at the Red Hill Auditorium.
Fatboy Slim is the first, but won't be the only Electric Gardens artist making their way across the country for some special time with WA folk, with organisers advising to keep eyes a'peeled to stay abreast of new announcements as they emerge.
As far as this first shindig is concerned, though, tickets and shuttle-bus bookings are on sale now, available via the venue and Oztix. First-release tickets will set you back $77 + fees, up to $88 and $99 a pass over the consequent two releases. VIP tickets are available for $300 + fees.
For more information, see the festival's website, or check theGuide and The Music App for booking details.
