Are you fun-starved? Need some nourishment in your live entertainment diet? Fear not, dear friends! Newcastles’ Fat As Butter Festival is back in 2011, packed-full of fatty, festival goodness. October 22 is the date, Camp Shortland, The Foreshore, is the location, and we promise you all the music and good times your ravenous little senses can handle.

Over the past four years, the Fat As Butter Festival has grown into one of the…well…FATTEST musical and cultural events in Newcastle, and indeed the country. This year, we promise you’ll be licking your lips over the line-up of international and local artists we have in store for you.

Drawing on a proud history and close ties with the local Newcastle community, the Fat As Butter Festival has become a focal point for music and entertainment in the region. With three massive stages, loads of stalls, arts & crafts, films, food and, of course, the best music around, Fat As Butter is busting at the seems with good stuff.

So who will be playing, exactly? We can’t say just yet. But with past performers including Ice Cube, Hilltop Hoods, The Dandy Warhols, Bliss N Eso, Grinspoon, and Wolfmother, 2011 is guaranteed to be fat!

For the very first time Fat As Butter will also be offering a “Time To Pay” ticketing option, allowing punters to pay off their festival ticket in three installments, a good option for students and those counting pennies.
