Forming in 2009, Expire have been unrelenting, playing dozens of national tours across the US with a who’s who of American hardcore. Hailing from the Midwest of the USA, Expire are a band that lives on the road. Their no frills hardcore assault has seen them conquer all of North America and Europe and finally in 2013 it is Australia’s turn to experience the dominant and energetic Expire first hand.

Forming in 2009, Expire have been unrelenting, playing dozens of national tours across the US with a who’s who of American hardcore. Their dedication and hardened riffs initially found the attention of Six Feet Under for their Suffer The Cycle 7" in 2011 before legendary label Bridge Nine snapped them up to release their debut album Pendulum Swings earlier this year. As they grow and grow, the band will take to the southern hemisphere for a run of shows that will see them play not only Australia but also New Zealand and South East Asia in one of their biggest tours yet.

Joining them for the tour will be Iron Mind, a band that is quickly proving themselves to be dominant in the Australian hardcore scene. Iron Mind will hit the road once more in January, completing an 18 months which has seen them launch their debut album Hell Split Wide Open and tour it nationally with the likes of Terror and Backtrack while criss-crossing Australia and New Zealand. Their old school New York infused hardcore ignites pits everywhere they go, their calculated precise live performances stealing the show from many bands their senior. With writing underway for a new album in mid-2013, Iron Mind will take to the road to play new and old and remind audiences why people can’t stop talking about them.

Expire and Iron Mind team up for a hardcore tour sure to set it off and hold it down everywhere it goes January/February 2013. Tickets are on sale Friday November 9.
